Holders of 5- and 10-year residency visas, which now number 65,000 inhabitants, will receive an Esaad card.
The government-issued Esaad card, which was previously only accessible to selected government employees, will be given to holders of the UAE’s long-term Green and Golden Visas. With this card, they will have exclusive access to deals and discounts at thousands of businesses in 92 different countries.
The discount card, which is offered by the Dubai Police, offers advantages across a range of lifestyle choices as part of the emirate’s commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
“This program supports the leadership’s goal of making Dubai the best city in the world to live in. In addition to the stability that the long-term visa offers, it is in line with their directions to offer Golden residence holders a variety of benefits, according to a statement from Abdulla Mohammad Al Basti, secretary general of Dubai’s Executive Council.
The UAE government has already granted almost 65,000 Golden Visas since it announced the long-term residency program, giving priority to various individuals in niche industries including investors, scientists, and doctors, as well as those in the creative sector.
The Golden Visa program is essential to the nation’s efforts to expand its non-oil economy by luring top talent and investors from around the globe.
The directive “reflects the leadership’s aim to make the UAE a center of innovation and a place where innovators, creatives, and entrepreneurs may thrive. According to Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, “Long-term Golden Visas for specific categories of residents give them and their families the stability to flourish in an enabling environment.
- Golden visas are aimed to let foreigners live, work, and study in the UAE without the need for a local sponsor and with full ownership of their company on the UAE mainland.
- Anyone who spends Dh2 million or more on a property is instantly qualified for a golden visa.
- The spouse and kids of a holder of a golden visa may also apply.
